About the Artist
Singer-songwriter and author, D.Yale, presents music with a hypnotizing rhythm and melodic diction that serenades your mind, body, and soul. Her sultry notes marry the sounds of R&B, soul, and jazz. Her album, Love Inflection, takes you on a journey of love, happiness, sorrow, pain, chance, and hope. Born and raised in Mobile, AL, D.Yale's musical roots derived from her family of singers and musicians and were cultivated by inspired singers such as Nancy Wilson, Al Jarreau, Anita Baker, Natalie Cole, the Clark Sister, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, and Ledisi. Love Inflection, D. Yale's first album, is a reflection of her published book of poetry and prose called Lyrical Inspiration. She fuses together spoken word with music to create poetry in motion. Love Inflection heightens the highs and lows of love and stimulates thought-provoking epiphanies and a feel-good vibe to groove to while journeying through the emotions of life.
